Hade beställt pick up service från flygplatsen men ingen hämtade upp oss.Tog oss då själva till hotellet där tjejen som tog emot inte hade en aning om att vi skulle komma,extrasängen vi redan betalat för var inte på plats och man ville att vi skulle betala för den ytterligare en gång ingen bra start alltså.Flickorna på hotellet underbara.Själva hotellet och ledningen aldrig igen. Reserve : Inga problem alls,synd att det inte gick fram till hotellet bara. Comment : Janice Mary Bentham : The hotel was a pleasant surprise, the staff very friendly and helpful and the room, although smaller than I had expected, was clean. I think that the management has now replaced all the mattresses after the various comments in reviews and therefore the bed was very comfortable. It is in a quiet location in Fishermans Village, but building is going on next door. (I was fortunate in that nothing seemed to be happening during my brief stay.) I only had breakfast at the hotel, but it was lovely. All in all, excellent value for money and I will return!
PS.Th pool is possibly the smallest one I ve ever come across, but would be good to get wet in and enjoy a beer in! Date: 2010-04-23

The room was lovely, the area was perfect, the food was really good and the staff were always helpful. We especially liked the young girl who seemed to be working a lot during our stay. Reserve : Excellent booking, no problems whatsoever. Comment : s crooks : Had a wonderful stay there with my wife & young son(11). Staff very friendly, went out of their way to help us.(bike&car). Room a bit small for the 3 of us but perfect for 2. Small pool which our son loved. Overall would recommend to anybody. Date: 2009-03-18
Reserve : Perfect as usual. Would nt use anyone else. Comment : Dishan Elise & Donal Ryan : This was a great place! We were only there for two nights but found the room to be very cozy and clean. Reserve : Very efficient Comment : Nadine Neumann : The Cocooning Hotel is a nice place in Fishermans Village. But there is a very big building site next to the hotel...the night is over at 7:00 a.m.

Reserve : The booking service is very good and easy, thank you very much! Comment : Jennifer Thiemann : Wouldn t recomment to stay there right now as there is a huge construction going on next to the Cocooning Hotel. They start working at 0730h in the morning and stop maybe at 1930h if you are lucky. We asked for pick-up at the airport. After 45min waiting we took a taxi. I choose the Cocooning Room in my booking but got the Lagon room (thought Lagoon will be writen with two o ;-)
The small terrasse couldn t be used because of the construction site. Room was nice and basic. Would suggest a water cooker at least for the guest.
Bathroom was clean. But with a little smell. In the end the Hotel try to charge us 3% commission by paying with our creditcard. But we didn t agree and the Hotel could wafe them in the end. The restaurant was often closed. But when open the food was good. Date: 2008-12-29
Reserve : We booked the Cacooning Room and got the Lagon Room. We booked a pick-up from the Hotel and need to take a taxi for 100 Baht more. As advised about the construction site would start from 0900h to 1700h in reality it started from 0730h till 1930h. Unfortunately no positive feedback. Comment : Daniel Clayton : Cute hotel, but had to check out after 1 night due to enormous building site next door causing noise from 7:30am to 7:30pm!
Wasn t impressed by the lack of information about this when booking- it will be many months before this work is completed! Date: 2008-12-23
Reserve : Comment : DAVID : Very nice and friendly hotel, only 6 rooms which makes it even better. Not noisy compared to other hotels in the area but still close to the beach and the restaurants. Staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend it. Date: 2008-08-16
Reserve : Excellent, though it would be very useful if we could have the hotel s phone number (at lease after the reservation is made). Comment : Erika Dobbie : The hotel is just as you see on the website, apart form maybe the swimming pool almost being the same size as the picture on the website! It is a lovely little pool, but don t expect to swim in it as lie horizontal and if you re tall you can probably touch both ends!! Apart from that, service excellent, food also and rooms cleaned everyday apart from sunday. Your balcony does get the sun, but is a bit small and looking onto bushes/building site. Yes there is some building work happenening next door, but nothing was done in the whole week we were there and I heard nothing for 6months....take the risk as for a cheap little hotel this will do you fine. It is one street back from the beach, but the beach was the other let-down for us. You have to walk about half a mile (which we looked upon as exercise to burn off all the alcohol) to a nice stretch of sand as closer to the hotel it is a bit unclean and lacking in sand in places. So if you want a quiet resort with some excellent restarants and bars come here. Date: 2008-08-14
Reserve : once we chose a hotel very fast although the room (imagination room) we selected and was confirmed as free was actually not when we got to the hotel so there was a breakdown in communication somewhere. not too worry as all rooms pretty much the same a apart from colour scheme. Comment : Daniel : Very nice and quiet hotel near the end of the village. Less than 5 mins to the beach. Staff are friendly and helpful. A wall along the road, many nice restaurants, shops, money changer. Environment is more relax compared to Chaweng. Date: 2008-06-27

Comment : wayne herbert parsons : i was very disappointed in the flower room of the Cocooning Hotel it was nothing like the photo,no floor covering just bare concrete floor and the matress on the bed was so hard that i finished up with a sore back,the staff were very polite and effecient Date: 2008-04-06

Reserve : Very efficient as usual. Comment : Fraser Sinclair Hand : Great hotel. Prices were very reasonable. Location is right in the heart of Bo Phut. Rooms were clean, cool and I had a balcony which was nice to sit out on. Food was very good and again reasonable for Bo Phut. Regardless of construction next door I found it very quiet and peaceful. Reserve : Excellent - easy affair. Highly recommended. Just book and turn up! Comment : lara campbell : While this little hotel has some charm we had to move out after one night as the massive building site next door was just too much to cope with. When we opened our curtains we were greeted by at least 100 workers gaping in at us. The staff were lovely though the manager could have been friendlier we felt. Bed was too hard unfortunatley and we didnt sleep so well. Given the size of the development next door I would say it will be quite a long time before this hotel will be a pleasant place to stay.
