Lounge had 2 pcs to use free of charge, which was handy.

Cet hôtel est très bien situé car tout en étant dans le centre de Chaweng, il est un peu à l écart de la partie la plus bruyante. Les chambres sont impeccables et spacieuses . Le petit déjeuner est divin (nous n avons pas testé le restaurant qui a très bonne réputation mais dont les prix ne sont pas donnés.)
A noter peut-être un petit manque d ambiance certainement dû à la période de début septembre.
La piscine peut surprendre par son look moderne et sa taille moyenne mais en fait il y a souvent peu de monde , la plupart préférant la plage attenante.
A surveiller : le terrain à gauche de l hôtel vient d être rasé ce qui promet pour la nouvelle saison fin 2009-début 2010, des travaux (et du bruit?) pendant la construction d un nouvel hôtel.
Bilan : adresse de standing en liaison avec les prix pratiqués en haute saison. Date: 2009-09-05

However , the Green Olive rest. is very pricy for Thailand and the menu offered is lacking in inspiration.
Perhaps management should consider a new , Thai national , Chef.
Location on Chaweng is not too loud
considering the Bars in the area , but mosquitoes may be a problem for some guests.
Rooms are tasteful and clean. EXCELLENT BED.

Reserve : No problems at all. Recommended. Comment : Peter Bishop : We just spent 10 days at the Buri Rasa Village. Between 8am and 5pm we experienced some noise from the adjacent building site. However we booked expecting this and received a discount price. Whilst the nose was audible in our room Rm17 the noise was not audible on the beach front, or from the pool and bar area.
The hotel is well situated on Chewang beach. The rooms are very nice and the beds very comfortable.
The service at this hotel is second to none. Nothing is to much trouble. The breakfast is good, the coffee whilst not great exceeded my expectations for Koh Samui. The Green Olive Restaurant is a little expensive by Koh Samui standards but the food is excellent. Across the road is Ninja Crepes for a cheap alternative and the food whilst not in the same class as the hotel is a still very good.
I also recommend going on an island kayaking and snorkelling tour, and I highly recommend the Blue Star Operator.
All in all I would have not problem recommending the Buri Rasa to anybody. Our stay was wonderful and once again the staff are fantastic nothing is too much trouble. Date: 2008-04-09
