Beautiful territory for which Nna reception of visitors well look after there is an employee speaking Russian that is very pleasant, as at me not so good English. Excellent breakfasts, above any praises!
The resort in 1 km from village of fishermen where there are restaurants, massage salons and souvenir benches is located. If you do not rent transport it is far enough for the pedestrian walk. But in hotel there is a transfer on Chaveng 2 times a day the Beach a little неухожен, mattresses on plank beds both and at pool demand replacement from the sea or repair.
And the most unpleasant - took place small larceny in number which I have found out. When collected things at departure from hotel. I have left the written claim in number, but is not assured that it has reached a management. Date: 2010-07-25

Comment : C. van Aartrijk : We enjoyed staying at Bandara resort although prices for food were expensive therefore we chose to eat outside or buy snacks from beach hawkers. We liked the location which is on one of the more quiet beaches of Koh Samui. I would surely recommend Bandara resort. Date: 2010-07-20
Reserve : Comment : Camilla Harner Smith : Bandara is beautiful!It s everything, exept for the expensive restaurant at the beach.It is not increadible charming, but with children to make things easier. This is great! Fishermansvillage only 6 minutes walking distance is a great little village to eat and do shopping.
Bo phut beach do not have the crystal clear water, but it has a nice beach with not so many sales men.Chaweng, just 10 minutes with taxi is awful, with hundreds of salesmen, noice and to long to walk to get into the water. Its noicy and horrible. Just great shopping! My first time in 1991 was Chaweng beautiful! The world changes! Date: 2010-07-06
Reserve : I do not like that it is included one room at other places than the hotel I want to book. If I could get one free night at Bandara, that would be perfect. El hotel es muy bonito, dos grandes piscinas, jardines, playa tranquila, muy atentos y a 5 min andando por la playa del pueblo de pescadores. Una estancia perfecta y tranquila. En los alrededores hay de todo, farmacia,agencias, 7 eleven, restaurantes. Nos encanto y lo recomendamos a todos los que deseen una estancia tranquila en un bonito resort y una bonita playa.
an excellente hotel, we were in a villa with swimming pool, the very extensive rooms and clean very kind. the hotel was very nice and to 5min walking by the beach of the fisherman village. A perfect stay and quietly.
In the environs it has of everything, pharmacy, agencies, 7 eleven, restaurants. I enchant to us and we recommended to all those that wish a calm stay in pretty resort and pretty playa. Date: 2009-07-09

Very friendly and attending staff will take care of every need you have. Rooms are spacious, very clean, well maintained. Gardens and landscape are extraordinary. The hotel s restaurants are looking good, breakfast was wonderful and one time we had dinner and it great too (One the best Pad-Thai I had in Thailand). Reserve : Proffessional from start to finish! Comment : Øyvind Skoglie : Actually,we stayed at Bandara 4 weeks, as we prolonged our prebooked stay for 3 weeks more.
A lot of positive things to be mentioned about the resort,
- Spacious, beautiful pool and recreation area,
- Plenty of sunbeds, never crowdy anyplace
around the 3 pools or at the beach.
- More than enough chiices for breakefast
- Clean towels every day for use at pools,
- Fruit and drinking water delivered daily.
But being there as long as we did, we also discovered some negative experiences,
- Trays containing leftovers, plates etc. after
being serving meals on rooms, remained in
corridors or terraces for up to 4 days without
being picked up of the ever-around-walking
tenants. Disgusting and stinking.
- Hotel info and internet ads make a point of the
manager Mr.Berger, saying he hope to see you
around ! Well, after having been there 27 days
hardly being out of the resort one single day,
we haven t the slightest idea of who this
important person is, or what he is occupied
with.
- As mentione, very good breakefast, but we
tried the Chom Dao beach restaurant once we
arrive, and it was nothing to be impressed with.
We therefor had our dinners outside the hotel,
plenty og cheaper and better choices.
- Free internet may be better called no
internet because we had so much trouble with
the connecton that we finally made use of
internet cafes nearby. The routine for having
access to net was hoplessly difficult, left alone
the speed, better use your mob.tel.
Alltogether, wonderful place for sun and swimming, kind staff and comfortable rooms, but
for the price charged one could expect better standard in some aspect. Date: 2009-02-22

Reserve : Fast and prompt replies to my requests. Very efficient!!! Thank you!!! Comment : as : I had a vacation in Bandara Resort and Spa for 6 days. It s a quite good resort. Near fishment village, not remote and has some stores nearby, very convenient. The environment is good, lots of tropical trees and flowers in the reosrt. Beach closes to resort and good although Bophut is not the best beach in Samui. Facilities are OK, free internet service, spa, diving shop and rent a car service are B+. But diving shop is a small store with old equipment, not valued the price, not recommend.
We had stayed at the deluxe room and villa. Firt day we entered the bathroom, there were many ants in the bathtub. Beside, we had found some dirtiness on the bedsheet. It reflected that the housekeeping was not enought cautious.
On the other hands, the staff were enthusiastic and always tried the best to finish your request. However, lots of time they had no good communication among themselves. We needed to change the room to villa and already gave the voucher to the reception when we checked-in, but they still believed we checked out after staying 2N at deluxe room. They stopped our key to enter the room and the bill-signing service. We needed to explain what was our arrangement for many times to different staff. They seemed to understand what happened. I think this is the reason why Bandara is four star resort. Improvement is needed to make better service. Date: 2008-09-20

The staff, the restaurants, surroundings, everything. Great for babies too. THe head chef even ran from the BBQ party too cook us private dinner in the pther restaurant. TOP TOP service. Reserve : Comment : Richard Ratcliffe : A wonderful hotel. We stayed in the private villa since it was our honeymoon. The service was excellent, honeymooncake and champagne to the room. Reserve : Comment : MARCHAL : Excellent hotel, very kind and efficient staff, quiet environment. The manager even invited us for my birthday dinner.We can only recommand this hotel as a great place to stay if you want relaxed holidays. Breakfast is a real treat, unfortunatly other meals, beverages and the spa are overpriced, but that are a lot of possibilities to eat outside the hotel.
